This is what our bedroom looked like most of today. In bed last night I thought, "Why not move all of the bookcases into our room?" I really dislike that the girls' weren't really allowed to be in their own room because they take all of Daddy's books of the shelves (among other things) and there wasn't any room for toys. But the living room gets smaller every day they get bigger. I suggested my idea to Andrew and he took to it right away. This morning we started the Great Reorganization Project of '10. We have moved all of the bookcases out of their room and into ours. The books are...on our bed, on the floor, on the table, in the hall...but none are in the girls' room anymore! We have one more bookcase to buy for the remaining books (making it five big, black bookcases, plus two more currently in the room--don't know where they are going!), then we're out of wall space. Somehow, we'll manage. In Nora & Ella's room we moved the changing table and chair. I think we're going to put another shelf above those for more storage...
The white bookshelf has the board books (accessible to them) and the big one has regular books at the top (so they dont tear them up). The bottom shelves have toys.
The table with the lamp will soon be a kiddie table and chairs. In the short time it's been set up like this, the girls LOVED it! They didnt go to bed until almost 8:30 (they usually go to bed 7-7:30)!
Here are some other recent pics:
The girls woke up from a nap the other day with some really curly hair!
love the swoop
Playing with fridge magnets
The girls cuddled with each other on the couch
This is how Nora was found when nap time was over the next day...
Ella, using her fire truck to run over Night Night Man.
When I went in to wake Nora from her nap the next day, she was looking so cute!
Ella, big yawner (love her little legs!)
Daddy rode his bike to work the other day. That means...another hat to wear!
Ella and Daddy watched Nora strut her stuff in the bike helmut.
I'll post more bedroom pics once we are finished (probably next weekend)!

Tony was looking at the picture initially and thought the one with the books on the bed was the "before" - he said - omg where do they sleep?!
