Happy Halloween!

The girls had a Happy Halloween!
Ella was a Lil' Pumpkin and Nora a Scary Ghost! (each outfit--$2!).
We went out for a scary Halloween lunch at Bertucci's. Here are the girls waiting for our table: Nora, hanging out at home
Ella, in her cute little tights, getting off the couch
HAPPY Halloween!
We went to the Melton's home in the evening. Savannah dressed up like a bat. Nora was scared and wouldnt sit by her! I left her eyes red for effect:)
The girls, ready to join a local gang of trick-or-treaters:
They spotted a group of kids in costume
Daddy joins the other neighborhood dads, walking door to door with the kiddos (moms stay home to pass out the candy!)

Hats, Hats, & Hats!

Nora has become rather obsessed with hats lately. Her Daddy often wears a hat home from work and the other day she wanted in on the action. She knows the word "hat", asks for it, and pats the top of her head, indicating she wants to wear the hat.

Here is a "before the hat" picture, just because it is cute:Nora gets Daddy's hat and does her best Blair Witch impression:
So happy to have the hat
Going about her business--in a hat
Darn, I look good!
Ella, wearing a new hat. She wasnt as fond of the accessory as her sister.

Nora with hat, in pajamas.
Nora in hat, drinking from her new Big Girl cup.
Nora wears the other hat, plays with toys.
Nora tries on a bag. Not quite as functional.

Look at how I caught Ella sitting!:
"Are they twins?"

Welcome Troyers!

Matt & Natalie (my sister) brought their little 3 month old, Lincoln Lee, to our apartment for a long weekend. It was cozy with seven of us in our little abode, but we had a good time. Here are Nora & Ella greeting Lincoln as he arrived.
Lincoln got a couple of hand-me-downs: A Colts onesie and a portable swing (AKA his new bed)
When we pulled the swing out and Nora decided she wanted to give it the old college try:
The girls were always ready and willing to help with the "bay-buh"
Late afternoon Troyer nap
Ella plays with a new car from the California Gaubs (the girls LOVE it!)
Ella helped Uncle Matt learn how to use the Baby Bjorn!
Lincoln--sucking his thumb just like Nora did!
The girls get out of the stroller and stretch their legs after a "walk":

Aunt Nat and Cousin Lincoln
Photo Op!

(Nat's face is a result of some squirting action in the pants from the little guy just as the picture was taken!)
The girls look on as Lincoln gets ready to go home...
Here are a couple of silly videos for those of you who have extra time on your hands...
Video 1) Natalie doing the hula hoop game on Wii (at Joey & Andrea's house). I laughed so hard watching her do it that I had to get it on video.
Video 2) Lincoln in his new swing, looking at his toys. He would watch the blue one for awhile, kicking his legs wildly, then squeal at it as he touched his hand to it. A grandparent kind of video:)

At Aunt Mia's Request...

Aunt Mia says it has been too long since we've posted anything. So, here you go!
World's Smallest Booty!
Nora puts on her pretend-mad face.
hahaha! I'm not really mad!
Ella finds a box.
Nora sees Ella in the box and goes to investigate.
Hmmm...yeah, I think I can fit in here
Now, Ella, you get up so I can try to get in, too
Perfect fit.
Daddy, can you please drive us to the couch?
Nothing beats our box car!
Hey, my people!
Barb, the physical therapist, sitting with the girls on their last day of PT (yesterday). She has worked with them since they were 3 months old. Since they have pretty much caught up developmentally (though not in size yet--Ella) they no longer need her services. She was great!
Nora's imitation after Mama stretches.
Ella's photo pose.
Ella's fake cry face.
The girls eating breakfast with Daddy (and Mama) this morning.
Ella, fussy (note how Daddy put on the onesie--cute:)
Over the fussies!
Mama asked for a kiss. The sweetest kisses!
