Back home again in INDIANA!

The weather gets colder, the tree goes up. Packages arrive in the mail. Before we even started our trek midwest for Christmas, gifts arrived for the girls:

(from Gigi and Grandpa Gaub)
(from Dave & Aliya)
(finger paints from Aunt Gretchen). The girls had their first experience with finger paints.

Then we switched to brushes.
Then we went to Indiana...
...and saw Andrew's BFF and his son, Ellis. Cutie pie.
At Grandma and Grandpa Richards' house they got to play with cousin Lincoln!
Yeah. There were also presents.
and (filled) stockings
the girls looked through their stockings

Grandpa got a new Colts shirt and a new hat
Daddy got a new apron from Mama
We got the girls some colored pencils and paper, which they tried out

Ms. Allison Corn made an appearance from Portland, Oregon via Logansport, Indiana!
Mr. Bob Jones (NYC via Ft. Wayne) read to the girls.
The Richards household now owns an Xbox Kinect. No controller needed to play the games!
Andrew, playing rally ball
Corn, bowling
...and then it was all over. And we were back in the car, scurrying home to avoid the Nor'easter that we never really had to contend with, thankfully!

Let It Snow!

After the first major snowfall in PA this season, the girls were really excited to go outside and build a snowman. But Nora became distraught when snow stuck to her mittens when she stuck her hand in the snow.
Ella was not so concerned about it.

The LOVE their snowman and talk about him every day.
Some of the new toys they got for Christmas:

(sweaters and dresses fro Grandma)
They love to play their Thomas memory card game. We play it every day.
