The Girls Run Track

So, Ella has not been sleeping so well lately. She is a bundle of energy all the time, especially before bed. Since the weather has been SO nice this week (70's and very sunny!) I figured it was a shame not to be outside. But taking walks wears ME out because the girls are either in the stroller or wagon. The nearest park is a good hike and even tehn it's hard for me to rangle two little ones. So I decided to try the local high school track and football field. It's only two blocks away and fenced in!. It turned out to be a marvelous find. The track was recently re-done and the football field is now a nice, soft AstroTurf, which is excellent for toddler feet to run on. We have gone there the past two days and both night have been nice and quiet!

A SPRING in our Steps!

It's getting warmer!!

Is it time for bed yet? Nora has been doing that toddler thing--insisting to do things herself. that means putting on her pants herself. On this evening she left them just over her feet and insisted on walking around the room like that. Ella was just hanging out with Night Night Man, of course.


I've been trying to put their hair up when they allow me. Ella only has enough hair in the very, curly back. Here's her little pony tail!
Nora has a bit more and looks adorable with pig tails. But she's not very fond of me playing with her hair, so it doesnt usually last long.

I had to put my hair in pigtails to try and convince Nora it was going to be okay.
Last week, during a sunny day, the girls and I went to the park with Andrea and Savannah.




The girls liked to run up and down the big hill at the park. They slept well that night!
On our way back from the park, Nora found a big stick and turned it into a walking stick!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all ye lads and lassies.
The weather this week has been beautiful and we've enjoyed nice walks every day. Seeing the sun has done wonders for everyone's mood!

I painted Nora's toes and she was so impressed. She kept showing them off to her sissy and Daddy. Ella has since had hers done, too, but I dont have pics of them yet.

I was vacuuming the living room and notice as I was pushing it around the room, Nora was pushing around a yard stick, trying to copy me...she may need her own toy vacuum!
